Stoplight Fright
Two super-sized vampires ran the red light
Looking neither left nor right.
Brandishing big pick-up trucks like weapons,
They raced to beat the sun so bright.
Lips stained red on snow-white faces
They didn’t see us there.
We daytime people held our places
Afraid to take the dare.
