I attended the Wild Goose Festival in Harmony, North Carolina, with Madville author R.J. Lee. It was an amazing experience which finished with a BIG storm. (Last time I was in NC, Hurricane Helene came through just as I was leaving and chased me all the way home… I wonder if I should avoid North Carolina? But how could I? I was honored to have been selected to participate in this highly competitive writing workshop. I got to study at the feet of some amazing authors. And I read from the same podium where Toni Morrison read, and I made new author friends.
